CorCinch-PMVI Study

An Early Feasibility Study of the AccuCinch® Ventricular Repair System in Patients With Prior Mitral Valve Intervention (PMVI) and Recurrent Mitral Regurgitation - The CorCinch-PMVI Study

CorCinch-PMVI Study [NCT03560167]

- To evaluate the safety and performance of the AccuCinch System in patients with recurrent MR after PMVI - AccuCinch Ventricular Repair System decreases the circumference of the posterior free wall of the dilated left ventricle which has three primary mechanistic effects: 1) it reduces LV wall stress as a result of reducing the LV radius and by transferring loads from the wall to the implant, 2) it allows the papillary muscles to realign potentially to reduce mitral valve tenting, and 3) it reduces the mitral valve annulus - Non-randomized - Ancora Heart, Inc.
